Bumpass' 1998 Chevy S-10

Project Intro:
Bought as a graduation gift to self, originally I wanted to lower it and use it as a cruiser truck. I liked lowered trucks because they had a clean style to them and they didn't look so clumsy. Little did I know that clumsiness is actually useful after I took a ride in my friends Ranger. So I decided to lift it, and to the day I still should have lowered it. I wanted to keep it and pre-runner the hells out it and make it indestructible, but that would have cost way too much and by then I would have built a Toyota.

Engine and Drivetrain:
Stock 4 cylinder, with 5 speed
K&N intake and Flowmaster

Cooling:
Stock, with high temp thermostat

Suspension and Steering:
Front: 5" lift from California Super Trucks (consisted of 2" coil & 3" spindle)
Rear: 2" ass-a-leaf with 2" shackle, all four wheels with Rancho shocks.

Wheels and Tires:
Eagle Alloys series 589 15x8
31x12.5x15 BFG Muddies

Electronics:
Alpine 45x4 watt deck
2 Kenwood 4x6's in the dash
Polk Audio separates in doors
A JL 12" sub in rear
All powered by 600 watt Kenwood amp. Set off a car alarm once

Lighting:
PIAA reverse lights
Pro Comp 150-watt off-road lights
Clear signals with blue bulbs

Exterior:
Custom Bonzi Productions front bumper
Fiberglass front fenders still white, typical Pre-runner
Rear bedsides popped out

Interior:
Stock

Misc:

Best Mod:
Fabricated front bumper (takes out shopping carts like crazy)
The stereo, because it wasn't built by Chevy

Best Break: What didn't break?
1. Ball joints Five or six in a single desert season, 90% of the time broke off road
2. Exhaust y-pipe (if you can call it that) and cat
3. Front brake lines
4. Fabtech A-arms broke while on road
5. Wheel came off while on road coming home from McDonalds
6. 1st CD player, Sony (sucked)
7. The lumber support, and all the handles on the seats
8. Burnt out the clutch in Glamis A Slowzuki towed me back to camp
9. Cracked the frame where the a-arms mount up
10. O2 sensor harness came loose and wrapped itself around the drive shaft, twice!
11. Caught fire heat shield from motor mount is held on by one bolt, shield broke at the bolt and fell on starter, causing battery to catch fire, blowing out a shit load of fuses, and melting the e-brake cable. If you have an S-10 please remove it, it is only useful for starting fires!

Worst Mod:
Other then the truck itself?
Fabtech (F**ktech) A-arms (don't have to explain that one)
A car alarm it was broken into once and it would still be missing, but noooo I woke up to a broken window

Project Outro:
I sold it for several reasons; I was afraid to drive it (everything broke on road), it was 2 wheel drive, not to mention it had the ugliest wheel travel I have ever seen.
